Yantai Spandex Co., Ltd. was incorporated in 1987, specializing in the research and development of high-tech special fibers as well as their production. We are listed as a key new & high-tech enterprise in the National Torch Plan, and also one of the 520 key enterprises in China. At present we have the total employees of 800, a fixed asset of about 173 million US dollars, and have an area of 230,000 square meters. Our annual production capacity is 20,000MT of New Star spandex yarn and 2,800MT of New Star meta-aramid fibers. Having received the certification of ISO9001 quality control system, we are able to ensure our products with stable and reliable quality. Being highly elastic, New Star spandex yarn is good for the textile industries like knitting and weaving, which become the ideal raw materials for elastic apparel and accessories. In domestic market, we cover a share of 20 percent, and in the international market the business counterparts in over 20 countries and regions are importing our New Star spandex yarn. New Star meta-aramid fiber is resistant to high temperature and insulated against electricity, and can be widely applied for the production of insulated papers by high temperature filtration material, protective clothing, and honey-comb structure.
